| A new year doesn't mean that the last year never happened. A new day doesn't mean you're not who you were yesterday. A new opportunity doesn't diminish the ones you've already been given.
I don't believe that a fresh start means you completely lose everything that you were or everything that you had. A fresh start isn't a completely clean slate. A fresh start doesn't magically erase past failures, feelings, or successes. A fresh start is a second chance. A fresh start does not mean forgetting about the past, it simply means accepting it, learning from it, and moving forward. Maybe instead of starting over, we should all just consider starting something.
